After rescuing the US President from the White House and London terrorist attacks, Secret Service agent Mike Banning will now have to save himself in the latest film in the franchise, Angel Has Fallen.

Angel Has Fallen is the third installment of the Olympus Has Fallen franchise with the second film titled London Has Fallen. The first two films revolved mainly on Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) on his job to protect the US President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) against terrorist attacks. This year, he has a new US President to protect, Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman).
After an attempted assassination at the President using explosive drones, agent Banning gets to save him at the last minute. But when the President's 'guardian angel' wakes up after the encounter, he learns that he is being accused of the attempt. Banning escapes his captors and seeks help from unlikely allies to clear his name and find the real threat to the President.

The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh with a screenplay by Katrin Benedikt and Robert Mark Kamen. The film stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Piper Perabo, Lance Reddick, Tony Huston, and more.
