After headlining the Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, The Rock Dwayne Johnson is soon to embark on another action-packed adventure in Jungle Cruise, with actress Emily Blunt.
The Rock stars as a riverboat captain who earns money by taking tourists in an ersatz Amazonian adventure. His career takes a turn when a persistent explorer hires him for a research mission.

The whole concept of the film was inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney's Jungle Cruise. The film brings together Moana star Dwayne Johnson and Mary Poppins Returns lead Emily Blunt in an Amazon-jungle expedition filled with real threats and foes.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film also stars Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. It is set for release on US theaters next year, on July 24.
