Can you imagine a future without any disasters?
Geostorm tells the story of a future where there are satellites controlling the climate. The film follows Jake Lawson, a satellite designer who heads into space with other astronauts when these satellites suddenly malfunction and release disaster-starting pods all over the world. They then must act fast and save the world before a major catastrophe happens.

It is co-written, co-produced and directed by Dean Devlin as his feature film directorial debut and written by Stephen Cornwell and Oliver Butcher. The feature film stars Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, Alexandra Maria Lara, Richard Schiff, Robert Sheehan, Daniel Wu, Eugenio Derbez, Ed Harris and Andy García.
