From the same director that gave us the horror-thriller film Hereditary comes Midsommar, yet another disturbing film that would give us all the creeps and reasons not to sleep at night!
The film's first trailer dropped last night, and it already gave us hints on what to expect from the film, Swedish cults and all. Watch it below:
Midsommar centers on a group of Americans who go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a Swedish village to attend a midsummer festival. However, their carefree summer holiday takes a turn when the villagers invite the guests to take part in festivities and rituals that are both unnerving and disturbing.
The film is written and directed by Hereditary's Ari Aster, and will be starring Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, William Jackson Harper, Will Poulter, and more.
Midsommar is tentatively set to open in cinemas this July 3, according to the film's official website.
