New Movies This Week: Aquaman, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse and Ben is Back

Directed by James Wan, it is based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It follows Arthur Curry, the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, who must step forward to lead his people against his half-brother, Orm, who seeks to unite the seven underwater kingdoms against the surface world. The film stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, the film revolves around Miles Morales who is bitten by a radioactive spider and suddenly develops mysterious powers that transform him into Spider-Man. He then teams up with the Spider-Men of different dimensions to stop a threat to all reality. It features the voices of  Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Velez, John Mulaney, Nicolas Cage and Liev Schreiber.

Ben Is Back

Written and directed by Peter Hedges, a drug-addicted teenage boy shows up unexpectedly at his family's home on Christmas Eve. It stars Lucas Hedges, Julia Roberts, and Courtney B. Vance.
