American Assassin 

Directed by Michael Cuesta, it is based on Vince Flynn's 2010 novel of the same name. The film follows the rise of Mitch Rapp, a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley. They are then enlisted by the CIA Deputy Director to investigate a wave of random attacks on military and civilian targets. Together, the three discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent. It stars Dylan O'Brien, Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, Shiva Negar and Taylor Kitsch.


 

American Made 

Directed by Doug Liman, it is a biographical crime film about Barry Seal who is a TWA pilot and recruited by the CIA as a drug runner in the south during the 1980s. The film stars Tom Cruise.


 

Mother 

Written and directed by Darren Aronofsky, a young woman whose tranquil life with her husband at their country home is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious couple. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffe


 

Puti 

Written and directed by Mike Alcazaren, it is a psychological thriller about a counterfeit painter who becomes color blind after a freak car. While recovering, he starts experiencing strange things that he can't explain. It stars Ian Veneracion, Jasmine Curtis and Lauren Young.


 

The Last Face 

Directed by Sean Penn, it tells the story of a director of an international aid agency in Africa who meets a relief aid doctor amidst a political revolution. Together, they face tough choices surrounding humanitarianism and life through civil unrest. It stars Charlize Theron, Javier Bardem, Adèle Exarchopoulos and Jean Reno.


 

Loving in Tandem 

Directed by Giselle Andres, it follows Shine who is a hopeless romantic wishing to meet the love of her life. As if her prayers have been answered, she meets Luke who will brighten up her days. It stars Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo.


 

The Mimic 

Written and directed by Huh Jung, it tells the story of a woman whose son is missing and takes in a young girl she finds near Mr. Jang, a mysterious mountain where there appears to have existed a mythical creature that mimics the voices of humans. It stars Yum Jung-ah and Park Hyuk-kwon.
