Disney Will Have Their Own Streaming Service by 2019

Because of this, they'll also be cutting their ties with Netflix.

The upcoming streaming service will be home to the live-action and animated films and show set to be released by Disney and Pixar by 2019. This includes Toy Story 4, the sequel to Frozen, and The Lion King from Disney live-action, and more. They're also planning to release original original movies, TV shows, short-form content which can only be accessed in the service.

The company will also "end its distribution agreement with Netflix for subscription streaming of new release, beginning with the 2019 calendar year theatrical slate."

We are still yet to find out what will happen to all the Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar titles available on Netflix. The company, however, has already stated that they're in talks with Disney to keep the content on Netflix after 2019.
