According to Time, starting February 3, two new Oreo flavors: Cookie Dough and Marshmallow Crispy will be available on the shelves…

in the US… which only means we won’t be able to taste it unless we threaten our Balikbayan relatives not to dare come home without them flavors in the box. Bummer!
Now here’s the thing, Oreo Philippines.
Thank you for giving us Double Stuff (regular, strawberry, and chocolate are pretty okay, too, but once we went Double, I really never went back). Twisting, licking, and dunking, were never the same since those landed our shelves.
In fact, Double Stuff is that good, that we didn’t mind when Golden Oreo skipped our country. There was also this Chocolate Banana Split Crème version. Interesting, but again, we got to live our lives without it. We also saw in the Watermelon Oreo your US counterpart released last year. Based on the reviews (and the fact that real watermelons are proliferous year round in this country) I guess we didn’t miss out much.
But, oh my. Oreo USA is releasing Cookie Dough and Marshmallow Crispy next month. Will those skip us as well? We hope not because we’re fairly certain that we’re not alone in this cause (right, reader?).
Here’s to hoping that if we whine hard enough, you will heed to our request of having the two new flavors in our local shelves.
