Dessert duo Miko Aspiras and Kristine Lotilla (of Tasteless Group's Scout's Honor, Freezer Burn, and Le Petit Souffle) introduces their new sweet offering to the metro: a straightforward donut shop selling sourdough brioche fried doughnuts in crave-worthy (read: not overly sweet) flavors, paired with Yardstick coffee.
Poison Coffee & Doughnuts is a product of the meeting of minds of Tasteless Food Group, Hydra Design Group, and La Marzocco. The collaboration results in delicious doughnuts and strong coffee served in a hip, dimly-lit, purple-tinged space, which serves as the lobby of Hydra's studio.

The shop just opened today, November 20th, to the public, and offers two prices for their doughnuts: P50 for Doughnut with Hole, and P70 for Filled Doughnut. To drink, Yardstick coffee here is served hot or iced; in black, white, and mocha. On opening day, Poison has rolled out seven doughnut flavors to choose from. Early favorites include Garam Masala and Egg Custard Brulee. More flavors (and savory options — think doughnut sandwiches) will soon be available.

Poison Coffee & Doughnuts is now open at the ground floor lobby of Hydra Design Group, located at The Alley at Karrivin Plaza, 2316 Chino Roces Ave., Makati. For inquiries, call 0917-8567753, like Poison on Facebook (/dangerouscoffee.deadlydoughnuts) and follow on Instagram (@poisondoughnuts).
