Milk tea lovers, there's a new place in town where you can get your boba cravings fixed!
One of Taiwan's most popular milk tea shops, The Alley, has finally opened its first branch in Manila last week to serve Filipinos the drinks that everyone from all over the world has grown to love.
The Alley first opened in Taiwan back in 2013, and is known for being one of the shops that started making and offering brown sugar milk drinks which are all the rave right now for people who love sweet and refreshing drinks. Since then, the milk tea shop has spread all over the world, opening branches in United States, Canada, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Australia, China, Taiwan, and more.
Located at the ground floor of the Main Hall of SM Mall of Asia, The Alley takes pride in serving drinks which they make from scratch. From choosing the right tea leaves for the perfect blend and processing the brown sugar syrup they use to kneading the dough for their own tapioca pearls – Deerioca, as they call it – customers are sure to have something they haven't tried before every time they take a sip on one of The Alley's drinks.

BROWN SUGAR DEERIOCA SERIES
If it's your first time trying out The Alley, definitely try out one of the drinks from their Brown Sugar Deerioca Series. You can choose from three kinds of drinks – Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk, Matcha Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk, Cocoa Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk. However, if you want something extra, though, you can try out the Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brule Milk, which has bits of creme brulee to add more chew and creaminess in your drink.
PREMIUM MILK TEA SERIES
For their Premium Milk Tea Series, you can try The Alley Milk Tea, The Alley Trio Milk Tea (which has tapioca, coconut jelly, and konjac jelly), and the signature Royal No. 9 Milk Tea, which they describe to have a hint of blueberry flavors.
