The wait is almost over and soon you'll sink your teeth into Magnolia Bakery's signature American desserts!
The famous bakery will open as M Bakery in Manila and will officially open its doors to the public on August 22, at One Bonifacio High Street Mall in BGC.
The team from Magnolia Bakery is currently in Manila to make sure the atmosphere and sensory experience of the bakery is perfectly recreated in M Bakery. Just like its very first bakery located in NYC's West Village in 1996, patrons can expect a warm and open establishment in Manila, with cupcakes and cakes being decorated on full display.
Phil Jacobe Ventures, Inc. is responsible for bringing in M Bakery to the Philippines. Its Managing Partner, Stewart Ong, shares his excitement of finally bringing the popular American bakery to the country. "We think that Magnolia Bakery is a brand has a perfect fit with our culture," he says. "We all know that Filipinos have a very sweet tooth, we always have our meals with desserts, and we love pasalubongs."
Soon, dessert lovers can drop by the bakery to buy boxes of their beautiful cupcakes to bring home, and fully stock their fridge with the signature banana pudding!
Expect freshly baked cupcakes, the sweet smell of live baking (they always bake fresh on premises), and baking in small batches to ensure the best quality treats for its customers. Aside from the famous cupcakes and banana pudding (there are 14 variants that will be available in rotation), they will also serve cookies, cheesecakes, brownies, and bars. M Bakery will open on August 22, 2012, its first store in the Philippines located at the ground level of One Bonifacio High Street Mall in BGC (the mall across Mind Museum). You will find the bakery beside Chino MNL. For its opening day, M Bakery will be offering a year's supply of their famous Banana Pudding to the first 5 customers (one tub of Banana Pudding every month).
