Artists and art enthusiasts alike will have something more to look forward to this holiday season with this year’s ManilART!
The national art fair has changed its October schedule and will now run from December 9 to 13 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have adverse effects to most industries, including our local arts & culture sector. Despite this, a lot of artists have used their talents and creativity to aid us during these hard times in their own ways.
While art is deemed non-essential in this current situation, it is time that we reclaim its crucial role in the spiritual patrimony of our nation. And one way to do so is by supporting and participating in ManilART 2020.
Now in its 12th year and with the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, ManilART will once again feature the living masters of Philippine art alongside up-and-coming artists. Around 36 selected bonafide galleries in the country will be participating.
The art fair will be press on with everyone’s safety being a top priority. There will be invitational VIP previews, timed entrances, an online web portal and fair walkthrough, e-invite system and contactless registration, as well as enhanced security and safety protocols with ManilART partners SMX, Ladder Events Production, and Safepass.
