The Alliance of Greater Manila Area Museums (AGMAM), in cooperation with the Visual Arts and Museum Division of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, invites various Metro Manila museums to an online Museum Talk Series to be held on June 18 and June 19 at 10am-12nn. The series will be moderated by Yael Buencamino.
Billed as “How are we doing?”, the event is a virtual town hall that aims to encourage sustainable professional practice and welfare of museum-workers from Metro Manila, to unify and grow solidarity among AGMAM members, and to get a better idea of the present and possible future for museums.
One of AGMAM’s objectives is “to encourage exchange, continuing communication and collaboration among museologists, heritage keepers and museums in the national capital region (NCR).” With this in mind, AGMAM and CCP, as one of its members, invites fellow Metro Manila museums to come together to share experiences, anxieties, and new ideas.
The following are the schedules of topics and speakers:

How could museums help create a better normal? by Maria Isabel Garcia, Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc.
