After Netflix’s To All The Boys film trilogy wrapped up last February, it looks like the streaming giant is eyeing a spinoff series that centers on Kitty Covey.
According to Deadline, the romantic comedy series is now in early development and will put the spotlight on Anna Cathcart, who played Kitty Covey in the films. Kitty is the youngest of the Covey sisters and was the one who sent out Lara Jean’s love letters to the guys she had crushes on, kicking off the whole chain of events that brought Lara Jean and Peter together. In the upcoming series, it will be Kitty’s turn to discover true love.
The film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and its sequels P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever starring Lana Condor were adapted from Jenny Han’s YA book series. The author will also serve as the creator, writer, and executive producer of the upcoming spinoff show. More details are yet to be revealed about this upcoming TV series.
