Consumers will also be able to contribute to uplifting the livelihoods of these local farmers with every purchase.Ā
Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar lauds this initiative to help our noble farmers protect their livelihood who were greatly affected by the logistical difficulties brought about by the quarantine.
With the strong support of the private sector, the DA, is confident that it can achieve its goal, āMasagang ani at mataas na kitaā and a food- secure Philippines with prosperous farmers and fishermen.āĀ
Jennylle Tupaz, Ayala Malls President shares, āWe continue our mission in uplifting the lives of the Filipinos during these unprecedented times. BuyANI is geared to help Filipino farmers sell their fresh produce and rebuild their business as they steadily get back on their feet and push forward. We understand the struggles of the heroes of our agriculture industry and local restaurateurs alike. By bringing them closer to the consumers through this project, we hope we are able to help alleviate some of their difficulties and contribute positively to the industry as a whole.āĀ
Ayala Malls would like to remind all shoppers that recommended health protocols such as physical distancing and wearing of face masks and face shields should be followed, and that in the spirit of sustainability and caring for the environment, purchases are plastic bag-free and shoppers must bring their own ecobags.
