Tap and Pay using your Android phones

Choose your device, add your credit or debit cards, and you’re all set.

Today, Google introduced Android Pay which is a simple and secure way to pay using your Android phones.

Revealed during Google's annual I/O developer conference, they have announced new features for their soon-to-be released operating system called Android M which includes the new Android Pay mobile payment system.

Similar to Apple Pay, Android Pay will work at a store or in an app. According to the company, they are open to developers who want to support the app.

There are only a few merchants supported by the app but according to the website, "Android Pay will soon be accepted at hundreds of thousands of stores and apps and we’ll be adding more locations and apps every day." Moreover, Android Pay has support from payment networks like American Express, Visa, Mastercard and more.

To pay using the Android App, you will have to unlock your phone, place it near a terminal and that's it. You will see a payment confirmation and get transaction details on your phone as well.
