The telecommunications company, PLDT and Smart Communications, welcome a new day unveiling their new logos which reflects their desire to empower their customers who are increasingly embracing digital services in their daily lives.
The new logo comes with the recent change in name of the company from "Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company" into "PLDT Inc." to better represent the company's current thrust to decisively shift its business to data-driven services.

What better way to celebrate it than a performance from one of the well-loved local bands, Eraserheads. On Monday, June 13, the quartet which is composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro surprised everyone when they performed on the local stage for the first time in seven years.
The band performed fan favorites like Ligaya, Ang Huling El Bimbo, With A Smile, Pare Ko, Superproxy and more.
