One World: Together At Home To Feature Contactless Concerts in Support of COVID-19 Frontliners

Some of the artists confirmed to perform include Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Alannis Morisette, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, and more.

After a number of artists came forward to do online concerts to encourage people to stay at home, Global Citizen – an organization dedicated to ending extreme poverty – has announced that they'll be organizing a special event to show their support on the COVID-19 frontliners.

Entitled One World: Together at Home, the global broadcast set to happen on April 18 will feature an all-star lineup of performers curated by Lady Gaga and hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert. The show aims to "inspire action to end coronavirus with music and more".

The upcoming global live-cast is part of the Together at Home campaign which calls on individuals from all over the world to ask world leaders and corporations to step up in supporting and providing resources to the global COVID-19 response. The event will also be a fundraiser and all the proceeds will go to the World Health Organization's Solidarity Response fund, responsible for supporting health care workers.

So far there are 25 artists slated to perform and show their support for the project. The line-up includes Lady Gaga, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, and Stevie Wonder.

Here's Hozier participating in the Together at Home campaign with a no-contact concert from his home:

One World: Together at Home will be broadcasted on American television on April 18, 5PM P.T. (April 19, 8AM, Philippine Time). The event will also be streamed on various platforms including Alibaba, Amazon Prime Video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo, and Youtube.
