Steven Universe returns this July with more of Steven’s signature goofy oddball-ness and magical adventures. In these new episodes, the half-human, half-Gem superhero continues to discover new fusion powers which he learns to master with the guidance of the four Crystal Gems. However, as a new threat arrives in Beach City, Steven is forced to team up with a new ally to rescue the Gems.
Steven Universe is created by Rebecca Sugar, former storyboard artist, writer and composer for TV hit Adventure Time. Launched in the Philippines in 2014, Steven’s magical adventures with the Gems – Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl –has captured the imaginations of many as the lovable bumbling hero always finds surprising ways to save the day. The talented Filipino-American, Deedee Magno-Hall, voices the character of Pearl.
But will Steven save the day this time? Who could this new ally be? And will the new tandem, paired with Steven’s new fusion powers, defeat this threat?
