BitTorrent has launched an app that shares photos between different platforms.

BitTorrent has launched an app called Shoot which is focused completely on sharing photos between different platforms. According to VentureBeat, an iPhone can send photos to an Android phone or to a Windows phone, instantly and effortlessly.

There are three simple simple steps in using the app. First, open the app and tap 'Send' to select the files on your device; second, have the people you want to share with scan the QR code on your screen; lastly, the files will automatically transfer between devices.

Files move directly between people without going through the cloud so your data remains completely private, according to BitTorrent's app description.

The app is free but it only offers three sends for free, then you have to pay $1.99 (P90) each time you want to share more photos using the app. Only the sender will be charged and will be free for the person receiving the files.
