It's been a while since the partners of the Ministry of Mushrooms took a break from its business operations, but the advocacy continues. So for the love of 'shrooms and in celebration of the new wave of Filipino local food artisans, Ministry of Mushrooms is collaborating with good friends to bring you a mushroom pop-up that's sure to get you buzzing!
Thanks to some some fun evenings at the Boiler Room Makati, Ministry of Mushrooms brings you Buzzed@4, a perfect partnership of three of our favorite things: Beer, Bacon and Shrooms!
It's all about #BeerBaconShroom this April 25 starting 4pm at Boiler Room featuring mouthwatering bacon burgers off the grill by Mister Delicious and Perfect Mushrooms served on warm toasted buns by Trigo bakery, perfectly partnered with local craft beers freshly brewed by Craftpoint Brewing Co.
Ministry of Mushrooms has partnered with Philippines-based, French-trained American expat chef and sommelier Jeremy Slagle a.k.a. Mr. Delicious to do justice to fresh, quality, locally grown oyster mushrooms by Perfect Mushrooms. Jeremy is highly prone to scathing sarcasm and frequent outbursts of profanity. He also knows how to make a mean burger and a kick-ass bowl of chili! Mr. Delicious is hooking it up burgers that will make a grown-man tear with joy – chargrilled beef patty topped with oyster mushrooms, slab bacon, Emmental cheese, fried onions and finished with horseradish mayo on a Trigo bun.
If that doesn't have you drooling, we've got a braised smoked pork chili with white beans, tomato and Craftpoint Liberation Ale. Enjoy the great grub with a special selection of local craft beers freshly brewed by one of the very first Manila based craft breweries Craftpoint Brewing Co. A couple of special brews being served fresh from the brewery are Summer Sessions and Liberation Revolutionary Pale Ale. Summer Sessions is light and laid back blonde ale perfect to start and end just about anything. This golden hued brew sports a crisp, refreshing body with subtle hints of flowers, fruit and honey. A perfect beer to be enjoyed in quantity, or for those who want an intro to the wonderful world of craft beer. Liberation Revolutionary Pale Ale is assertive, innovative and bold. It's what happens when bold, citrusy American hops and complex, fruity aromatic yeasts get drunk together at a frat party at 3 A.M. A smooth nutty caramel base completes this full flavored trifecta that can only come from an experience this liberating.
