KOREAN Cultural Center in the Philippines, in partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Culinary Institute will be holding the Philippine round for 2016 Global Taste of Korea Cooking Contest on July 2 at LPU.
The cooking contest is open to Filipino citizens ages 18 and above, both professional and amateur chefs who are passionate about Korean cuisine. The grand winner will win 30, 000 pesos cash prize and a culinary trip to Korea. He or she will also represent the Philippines in the Grand Finals which will be held in Korea. The winner for the grand finals in Korea will win $ 10,000.
Application starts on May 10 to June 10 2016. The complete set of guidelines and the application form may be downloaded from the Center’s official website koreanculture.ph and submitted via email or at the Korean Cultural Center office.
