Four Seasons Hotpot City rings in Chinese New Year by opening yesterday, the first day of Year of the Sheep. Located at SM By the Bay in the Mall of Asia Complex, this new buffet restaurant is the latest addition to the many eat all you can dining destinations SM By the Bay is getting known for (you can already call the area 'buffet by the bay').

Four Seasons is now offering the tabletop hotpot buffet where diners can interact with their family and friends with the cooking experience, plus a fully customizable Shabu-shabu stew to top your soups with anything you can get your hands on at the restaurant. Meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles, other add-ons and condiments are laid out like a buffet spread for customers to choose from to add to their soup stock. Two major food choices for your hotpot are Japanese and Chinese cuisine, and they also have a selection of Asian staples that go beyond the hotpot, such as tempura. Compared to a regular buffet spread of dishes cooked in many ways, the hotpot is a healthier eat all you can option as you skip oily, deep-fried meals and stick to fresh ingredients and leaner cuts of protein cooked right on your table. Soup is always comforting, too.
