Its inspiring to see that the philippine's have a really good 5star hotel, however i cant seem to ignore the fact that the hotel dining area looks like a copy of the westin hotel in shanghai! anyhow, longest buffets have been an ongoing thing here in china. congratulations to philippine plaza for catching up with the trend.

its not 888...the price is 1500 plus 12% tax and 20% service charge. the ice tea also costs 200/head.
but the food was great. although you really have to go there with an empty stomach to make the experience worth it.

the 888 becomes around 1100...but its still sulit though since they dont scrimp on the ingredients and they have expensive items on their menu, anyway...sayang lang cos their yummy lambchops are always out of stock but the prawns are abundant...what's good about spiral is they dont offer you drinks...they just fill your water glasses...you know how expensive hotel drinks are...on the plus side, kids below 4 are free...and if you have a privilege card, you can get as much as 50% off =)

php 1100 for a lunch at Spiral will really satisfy your hunger and won't give you any regrets. You can try a wide variety of different dishes: Mediterranean, Japanese, Indian, Western, Chinese, Korean, Mongolian and Pastry/Dessert Section but you have to go there with an empty stomach so you can try everything.

Lambchops may always be out of stock because it really tastes good, so if you want to have it be sure to come early.

Dinner would give you a very great ambience and the lightings were really superb, highly recommendable.

I'm arriving in Manila soon. I can't wait to eat at Spiral with friends and family.

it should look like the Westin because it is the former Westin Philippine Plaza. It has now been bought out by Sofitel, one of France's premier hotel brands and it is their first property in the Philippines I think. There are many Sofitels in other parts of Asia, but most Filipinos will go "Sofitel? What's that?"

Went to Spiral last October 4. The food was great except the service was terrible. There was a trainee from BENILDE who didn't know what the hell he was talking about when asked about the pasta bar plus he had an attitude to go along with it. In addition, when they brought out the birthday cake for my girlfriend, they charged me an extra P180. In Circles or the other hotel buffets i've been in, they never charge for that. Then prior to serving the birthday cake, the waitress asked my girlfriend, who is the celebrant if the cake should be brought out already. WTF!! They should've asked me instead. What if i wanted to surprise my girlfriend?? There were alot of things to criticize but i just have no time. My rating is 7.5/10 compared to the 9/10 i gave circles. If it wasn't for that Benilde idiot and the waitress it would've gotten a higher score. Sometimes taste ain't everything.

Ive been to Westin Shanghai or Pudong if you want to call it that and it does not look anything like Spirals. Westin Shanghai did have fantastic food but what do you know, they treated Filipinos like crap. A hotel director friend made the reservations for us because its so hard to get one. I chinese waitress told my fiance to get out of the seat because "it is reserved". Imagine, the hell my fiance raised that got the GM of the hotel granting us free dinner. Talk about discrimination! So, for Spirals Manila, Kudos!
