Despite their love for Persian food, the owners felt that the ambiance and the image that standard Persian restaurants projected were too foreign, too formal. It was then that it was decided to start Kebab Bob, which specializes in serving innovative Persian food that has been customized for the Filipino taste in a fast food, over the counter format.
Kebab Bob serves two main line of food products, the rice meals and the pita wraps that have long been associated with the middle-eastern food industry, most especially the shawarma. The Beef Kebab, or the Beef ‘Bob as we would like to call it, is the flagship product for the rice meals as it is also one of the more popular Persian dishes in the country. Kebab Bob not only offers the usual Persian dishes, but innovates as well through dishes like our Kofta Cheese Patty, which is unique only to us, currently one of the best sellers next to the Beef ‘Bob. As for the wraps, the flagship product here is the Beef Shawarma, popularized in the past decade by food carts. We also have food products that cater to groups, such as the Persian Nachos, which uses crunchy pita bread instead of chips, and the fries, something that is familiar and that appeal to everyone.
What Kebab Bob truly takes pride is in the taste of its garlic sauce. It has been customized for the Pinoy taste, separating itself from the common taste expected of garlic sauce for Persian food.
