ECHOcafe is part of the Sustainable Food arm of ECHOstore Sustainable Lifestyle, which is a social enterprise retail store housing various founded by the power of three women, Pacita “Chit” Juan, Jeannie Javelosa and Regina “Reena” Francisco. ECHOcafe advocates the concept of sustainable food: healthier meals that have fresh ingredients that are either organically grown or do not contain chemicals, artificial preservatives, pesticides or growth hormones. ECHOcafe also gives importance to the environmental aspect of food because meat consumption is one of the sources of methane emissions in the planet.

At ECHOcafe, feel good feeding yourself as your food purchases also benefits various communities whose products are used in making ECHOcafe’s menu items. Ingredients are sourced from small community groups all over the country which means less energy was used to get the products to the consumers and that the food products supplements incomes to small-medium scale farmers and marginalized communities too.
