Four years after its release, ClickTheCity App now brings you the whole web experience by bringing the website's homepage article stream right at your finger tips.
From the start, the app has focused on its utility value – bringing initially ClickTheCity.com's directory listing, movie, TV, and events schedules. It then added Privileges, a service that gives app users exclusive freebies and discounts to partner merchants. A few years after, the Mobile Ordering function was introduced which allows app users to order food from McDonald's, Shakey's, Yellow Cab, Fruits In Bloom, and Quick Delivery's partner merchants.
The latest 4.7 release now brings article content to the fore, while still being able to easily access the app's utility content. “That is actually the challenge for this release”, says Edgar Muring, Interface Designer for ClickTheCity App. Now, users can browse through the latest articles on ClickTheCity.com within the app.
The release also includes Profiles, which contains cast biography and an updated Movie design that allows users to submit their movie reviews.
ClickTheCity App 4.7 can now be downloaded for free on the App Store, and coming soon on Google Play.
