Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the country’s first and only world class theme park, recently held its first “Reigning Gay at EK” Pageant.
From around 20 candidates, glamorous gay men contestants were trimmed down to eight finalists consisting of call center agents, college students and an educator with ages ranging from 18 to 25.
The contestants displayed their creativity during the costume portion. All eight candidates showcased their unique outfits accessorized with feathers, flowers, masks, and jewelleries.
During the talent potion, the finalists showed their unique dancing and declamation skills.
Like any other beauty pageant, it would not be complete without the evening gown segment. Once again, the eight gay men finalists flaunted their stunning gowns complemented with their sexy body curves.
All contestants walked down the runway with their stunning gowns and high heels. Black, white and blue were the dominant hues worn by the contestants, even their hairstyles were well crafted making them more fabulous in their evening gowns.
Lastly, during the question and answer portion, the eight candidates proved that they are not only equipped with beauty, they have brains as well. Through their answers, they were able to show everybody that as a gay, they can both think as a man and as a woman. One highlight during this portion is when candidate # 7 Ferdie Manalastas said, “We gays won’t give you memorized answers. We will provide you something that came from our hearts and with utmost sincerity.”

In the past, EK has been creating competitions for kids, anime enthusiasts, motoring fans, dance groups and many more. They have seasonal versions of “Enchante the Musical” which showcases the singing and dancing talents of EK’s employees a.k.a. Cast Members, a deviation from their usual work routines. Uniqueness has become one of EK’s thrusts and “Reigning Gay” completes the roster of special shows.
