Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila Lights up Christmas Tree

Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila’s celebrations of the holidays features a few new treats this year, highlighted by the first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila’s celebrations of the holidays features a few new treats this year, highlighted by the first-ever Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the ‘wishing well’ dedicated to the victims and survivors of the super Typhoon Yolanda on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 5:30 PM.

“We wish the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila to become another annual tradition,” said Waterfront Hotels and Casinos Corporate Sales and Marketing Director Theresa Fernandez. “Apart from that, we aim at making this activity more meaningful by bringing the community together and encourage them to help our people in Eastern Visayas through a donation drive.”

In keeping with the spirit of Christmas, Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila has partnered with the Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Inc. (AKFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of TV5 to help our fellow Filipinos who have been extremely affected by one of the most powerful storms ever recorded in history. A ‘wishing well’ is placed in the lobby so that employees and guests can drop their donations until January 5, 2014 and will be turned over to the AKFI for proper allocation of aid to those who are in dire need of help specially in the far flung areas in the Visayas Region.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin with holiday music by the Ramon Magsaysay Chorale whose angelic hymm has been welcoming the yuletide season in WPHC for 10 years now. In addition, warm holiday festive delights and Christmas goodies are in store for all to keep the feeling of hope and joy alive.
