    John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)

    R-16 Action, Crime, Thriller
Keanu Reeves, Common , Laurence Fishburne
    Chad Stahelski

How many heads and bodies blown apart in 2 hours before it just gets boring? And the idea that practically everywhere Wick goes every person on every street is out to kill him? Does this mean every person on earth is a hitman? Beyond belief...and just boring..this is what impresses the viewer? Apparently, but not me!

This goofy movie was both funny and stupid, but in an entertaining way for a fun holiday movie. No academy award winner but some good laughs to fill a couple of hours.

USS Indianapolis: Disaster at Philippine Sea (2016)

    PG Action, War
Nicolas Cage, Tom Sizemore, Thomas Jane
    Mario Van Peebles

Very interesting story from several perspectives, the fact that this ship carried the bombs that ended the war, the amazing test of endurance to survive the torpedo attack, days without rescue, and shark attacks. The aftermath and hearing into the disaster and the impact this made on the captain's life all added to the plot.

    Ben-Hur (2016)

    PG Drama, History
Jack Huston, Morgan Freeman, Toby Kebbell
    Timur Bekmambetov

Maybe not as truly great as the original, but still a well done remake of a story that incorporates many moral lessons which are worth repeating. And lots of action to keep your attention.

    Captain America: Civil War (2016)

    PG Action, Adventure, Sci-fi
Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson
    Anthony Russo, Joe Russo

I agree with those that say there was way to much talking, both my wife and I got sleepy, and although we've see the other Marvel films, I guess we're just not big enough fans of the series, after a while even the action seems like the same old stuff. My apologies to those of you that loved it.
