"Doctor Sleep" turned out into something I didn't expect as it went a different direction but gotten really satisfied. It's a worthy successor of "The Shining" that didn't disappoint at all. Glad I watched the original first as I appreciated this better and some little details made more sense. Hindi na sya horror movie but more like creepy fantasy thriller, good versus evil. Tunggalian ng mga intense psychics! McGregor is consistent as always but it's the beautiful Rebecca Ferguson as the leader of the True Knot stealing the show. One of the best disturbed villains ever! Jacob Tremblay had thi... Read more

Terminator: Dark Fate's first 5 minutes was nostalgic and shocking! For me, that's the best part of this movie apart from that over the top epic action sequence inside the plane. Medyo deja vu, actually it's the same rehashed plot using the same basic formula, gender-swapped ba. The new characters lack depth or connection kahit yung killer isn't menacing enough, a far-cry from Robert Patrick's tension-filled and atmospheric performance as T-1000 from T2 which is still the best in the series, didn't even match that Oscar winning special effects from 1991. It may not be as bad as the last 2 film... Read more

Amboring, nakatulugan ko! Disappointing for someone who grew up watching the re-runs in the 90's. Can't really remember a scene which made me laugh, parang wala ata talaga eh. With a stellar ensemble, quite not entertaining enough as the good parts were seen already in the trailer. The only thing I liked was Lurch's musical performances. Wait for REM' "Everybody Hurts" scene. The ending was predictable and rushed. Actually mas OK pa yung mga animation sa Nickoledeon eh. For once I can now say I had regretted watching a kid's movie and this was it. Go save your money for something else. OctoPu... Read more

10 years later and the whole Zombieland gang is back. I believe it's worth the wait. Can't imagine how much fun they had while filming this. Double the creative kills, double the fun! Perfect barkada movie. Sobrang riot as there were a lot of scenes that really made me laugh so hard. Just enjoyed everything especially with the addition of the lovable dumb blonde Madison na agaw eksena lagi. Emma Stone is beautiful as always, nice to see her in outrageous roles like this kahit Oscar winner na sya. And don't leave yet as there's still an end credits scene courtesy of Bill Murray! Hilarious! Gra... Read more

Isang henyo role na naman si Benedict Cumberbatch after Dr. Strange, Alan Turing and Sherlocke Holmes, this time it's scientist Thomas Edison. Paunahan lang sila ni George Westinghouse pailawin ang buong Amerika. I remember this received buzz 2 years ago when shown during the TIFF but got shelved after the Weinstein sex scandal. I'm impressed with the technical aspects of the film, the cinematography (yung mahahabang tracking shots and overhead scenes), period costumes and musical scoring; the stylised look didn't feel old at all even if it's a historical biopic. Just found it weird having Bri... Read more

Feels like Game Of Thrones for kids. Hahah! Maleficent 2 is at par if not better than the original in terms of entertainment. Some arcs medyo predictable and it's great that they had the epic climax done in daylight. Disney never gets short of their stunning visual effects but sometimes medyo CGI heavy na that it turns cartoonish. Really can't think of anyone perfect to execute the role of Maleficent but Jolie, though she gets shorter screen time on this one. Si Queen Ingrith talaga yung Mistress of Evil eh. Hahah. Well, well. Anyare sa "Gemini Man" ni Will Smith at Ang Lee? Hahah! Nothing remarkable other than the Motorbike chase in Colombia and digital de-ageing of Junior, almost all the good stuff was in the trailer. Flawed script, predictable plot and some inconsistent CGI. Yung may pa-kengkoy effect like fast forward ng mga bakbakan scenes na mukhang videogame. Not recommending this. Wakwenta! Yes, may adbokasiyang ganap! It lets you get immersed to the world and struggles of the deaf and mute. Yung sinehan tahimik lang tapos biglang may kabig ng kilig. Hahah! First time to see Maine Mendoza in a movie, in fairness kaya naman pala magdrama. That Jodi scene was hilarious! Carlo Aquino, well, brilliant as always. Iba yung hugot ng emosyon! Medyo bitin lang, but it's the good kind of bitin. Like you wanted more of Gali and Mara! ArkiExam.DoorbellLights.SoundVibrations.

"Abominable" feels familiar but still refreshing. May pagka "Bumblebee" or "Toothless" yung first interaction. Pambata but will definitely delight all ages. It's visually (wait for Everest's magical powers) and auditory stimulating (everytime they play Coldplay in the background or Yi doing the violin). RoofYeti.BlueberryBurst.WhoopieSnake.

"Joker" went beyond my expectations and really deserves a standing slow clap. Yung tapos na yung movie but I can't stop thinking about it. Apart from the impressive technical aspects, it's really the legendary performance of Joaquin Phoenix that made this an outstanding movie experience worthy to be watched. Just pure genius! Don't watch this because of the hype or wanted to be entertained, this is far from a "popcorn flick". It's a brilliant "art film"! I actually wanted to end this with a joke. But nah you won't get it.
