    Love, Simon (2018)

    R-13 Drama
    Cast
    Nick Robinson
    Director
    Greg Berlanti

Love, Simon is a light hearted dramedy but it did not disappoint when it comes to warming my heart. Nick Robinson showed depth in every scene that requires emotion which we did not see during his Jurassic World outing. The story is very millennial which made the movie relatable in many ways to its target audience. I’m just hoping for a movie with Nick Robinson and Katherine Langford the two got so much chemistry.

    Dunkirk (2017)

    PG Action, Drama, History
    Cast
    Fionn Whitehead
    Director
    Christopher Nolan

Everything about this movie is superb. It proves that you don't need too many lines to convey emotion. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and felt like I was underwater too. The only problem with this movie is that it was too short. Nakakabitin.

    Atomic Blonde (2017)

    R-16 Action, Mystery, Thriller
    Cast
    Charlize Theron
    Director
    David Leitch

Charlize Theron and James McAvoy's name alone are enough reason for you to watch this femme fatale movie. Close combat fight scenes are intense and Theron's performace is awesome. Plus factor are the nude and sex scenes. Watch out for the twist. I meant, twists.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)

    PG Action, Adventure, Sci-fi
    Cast
    Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan
    Director
    Luc Besson

Last night, I got the chance to see an early preview of the much awaited sci-fi, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets starring Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne and directed by Luc Besson. The story revolves around 28th century special operatives, Valerian (DeHaan) and his partner (Laureline). They travel to the ever-expanding metropolis, the Alpha, on a mission when a dark force threatens the peaceful city. I'm not really a fan of sci-fi movies so I was beginning to think that I might fall asleep halfway through the show and informed my brother to wake me up if that happens. But when t... Read more
