There's a new web series to binge watch this weekend, and it's now streaming on YouTube Red!
Cobra Kai – which premiered yesterday, May 2 – is based on the Karate Kid film series and follows Johnny Lawrence who reopens the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo and reignites his rivalry with the succesful Daniel LaRusso. The two then must address their past and present demons through karate.
Cobra Kai will be marking the return of Ralph Macchio as LaRusso and William Zabka as Lawrence, and they will be koined by Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, and Mary Mouser. The show will be executive produced by Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, Susan Ekins, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg.
The show's first two episodes can now be streamed for free on YouTube, while the remaining 8 can only be accessed by YouTube Red subscribers or after paying P87 per episode (since YouTube Red is not available in the country).
