A new thriller is coming to Netflix, and it is set in a world where all electronics have completely shut down and humans have lost their ability to sleep.
Titled Awake, this upcoming movie stars Jane The Virgin lead actress Gina Rodriguez and it will be released on June 9. Watch the official trailer below:
After a mysterious global event, the world has become devoid of technology and sleep. Jill, an ex-soldier with a troubled past, discovers that her daughter may hold the key to cure humanity’s sleep dilemma. But Jill must race against time and save the world before she loses her mind.
Awake also stars Ariana Greenblatt, Frances Fisher, Shamier Anderson, Lucius Hoyos, Finn Jones, and Gil Bellows. It is directed by Mark Raso.
