From the same director who gave us A Werewolf Boy and Phantom Detective comes Space Sweepers — the newest sci-fi blockbuster coming to Netflix. which stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, and Yoo Hai Jin. Just ahead of its premiere this February 5, the streaming site finally unveiled the final trailer of the film.

The main trailer shows 2092 Earth, which has become a bleak planet that’s soon to be uninhabitable. Because of this, a habitat was created in space for all of UTS citizens. The trailer introduces us to the crew members of Spaceship Victory, who live off salvaging space debris.
Manning the spaceship is the genius pilot Tae Ho, an ex-space pirate Captain Jang, a spaceship engineer Tiger Park, and a reprogrammed military robot Bubs.
After snatching a crashed space shuttle in their latest chase, the crew finds a 7-year-old girl inside the said shuttle. They eventually realize that she’s an extremely dangerous human-like robot that the UTS Space Guards have been searching for. The crew eventually decides to put her up for ransom. What they don’t realize, though, is how their quest to get money might also lead them to saving the world.
The film comes from director Jo Sung Hee. It stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, and Yoo Hai Jin as Tae Ho, Captain Jang, Tiger Park, and Bubs, respectively.
