The Umbrella Academy fans, the third season of the superhero series is coming sooner than we think! And to get us even more hyped up and excited for this, Netflix has unveiled the new cast members we’ll be meeting in the upcoming season. The new cast will be comprising the Sparrow Academy, the group who we’ve seen at the end of season 2.
In case you need a quick refresher of the series, Season 2 ends with the Hargreeves siblings returning to the present day after stopping a nuclear war from happening in 1960s Dallas. Upon coming home, though, they discover that their father Reginald Hargreeves and their brother Ben are both alive and that there’s a new group of kids with superpowers that exist in that alternate timeline — The Sparrow Academy.

Justin Cornwell as No. 1 or Marcus
Marcus is described as “charming, chiseled, colossus.” Marcus is known to keep the family together, especially since he’s someone who has a sense of leadership without having to raise his voice.
Justin H. Min as No. 2 or Ben
This time, Ben is described to be different from the Ben that we met before. A “Machiavellian tactician,” Ben is determined to gain his status as the leader no matter what.
Britne Oldford as No. 3 or Fei
Fei is a Sparrow who “sees the world in a special way.” Although she would rather be alone, Fei still wishes that she had a friend. She is also usually the smartest person in the room, and she doesn’t quit until she gets the job done.
Jake Epstein as No. 4 or Alphonso
No. 4 or Alphonso has years of crime-fighting on his record and has a “caustic and biting sense of humor.” The way to his heart? A good pizza and a 6-pack of beer!
Genesis Rodriguez as No. 5 or Sloane
Sloane is a “romantic and a dreamer” who is eager to see the world and live a life outside her upbringing. What keeps her from doing this, though, is her obligations to her family and the Academy.
Cazzie David as No. 6 or Jayme
Jayme or No. 6 is a “loner hidden under a hoodie.” She has a fear-inducing snarl, and she spends most of her time with Alphonso who she considers her only friend.
Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube as No. 7 or Christopher
Christopher or No. 7 is a telekinetic cube of unknown origin, which can turn the room cold and induce fear. Christopher acts as the family’s mediator and the entire family treats him like a sibling.
Aside from the new characters, Elliott Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, and Robert Sheehan will all be reprising their roles for Season 3.
The Umbrella Academy will kick off production in Toronto, Canada, this February. You can stream the series’ first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix.
