Song Hye Kyo’s New Drama

After months of speculation on what her next project will be, Song Hye Kyo will be reuniting with Descendants of the Sun writer Kim Eun Sook for the drama Glory. Directed by Ahn Gil Ho, the 8-part drama centers on a person who dreamt of becoming an architect but had to quit school due to bullying. She eventually becomes a teacher, who plans to take revenge to those who bullied her.

Glory comes two years after Song Hye Kyo’s last drama, Encounter, where she starred alongside Park Bo Gum.

Lupin

French Netflix original series Lupin has finally launched on Netflix last January 8! It centers on Assane Diop, whose life turns upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. More than 2 decades later, he uses “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar” as his inspiration to avenge his father.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License”

Olivia Rodrigo, the star of High School Musical: The Musical, released the music video to her debut single “driver’s license’ last Friday. Written by Olivia and Dan Nigro, the song is about the singer getting her license following a break-up, after she and her former lover talked about getting it so they could go on adventures together.

Careless Music dropped the video for Nadine Lustre’s live performance of her song “Ivory” last January 7. The song is part of Lustre’s debut album “Wildest Dreams,” which was released in October last year, and is accompanied by a visual album.

GOT7

Korean media outlet Dispatch reported that GOT7’s appearance at the Golden Disc Awards will be their last activity as a group. The 7-year contract of the members with JYP Entertainment will be expiring this month, and all the members are rumored to sign with different entertainment agencies. JYPE is yet to comment on this report.

Meanwhile, GOT7 members uploaded a photo of the group on their personal social media pages, with the caption #GOT7FOREVER.
