Based on 'Hilda' the comic book series by British artist Luke Pearson, this upcoming Netflix animated series stars a blue-haired girl who leaves her home in the magical wilderness and journeys to the city.
'Hilda' the British comic book series for children has garnered and been nominated for multiple awards, and this includes being nominated thrice for the Eisner Award. The comics follow the adventures of a curious and fearless girl, along with her pet Twig, when they move from the forests to big city Trollberg.
In the series adaptation, 'Hilda' is voiced by Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones). Hilda's marvelous world of fantastical creatures will be available for streaming starting September 21 when season 1 drops on Netflix. At first look, Hilda easily charms with the different quirky characters and lovely animation that give viewers a mix of Adventure Time's strange world and Spirited Away's heroine adventures.
