Four years since they first worked together in the K-drama Descendants of the Sun, Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook are set to reunite again for a new drama!
According to a report by Ilgan Sports, the actress will be playing the lead role in the still-unnamed drama, which will start filming in the second half of the year. It is expected to air at the end of 2021 or the first half of 2022.
Not much has been known yet regarding this upcoming project. However, sources say that the drama will be coming from Hwa&Dam Pictures and Studio Dragon, who are still looking for more cast members.
Aside from this, Ilgan Sports also reported that Ahn Gil Ho will be directing the new drama. Some of his most recent works include Memories of Alhambra, Record of Youth, and the first season of Stranger.
Song Hye Kyo last appeared in the 2018 drama Encounter, where she starred alongside Park Bo Gum. Meanwhile, Kim Eun Sook’s previous projects are The King: Eternal Monarch, Mr. Sunshine, and Goblin.
