Based on a book written by Mark Greaney published in 2019, The Gray Man is said to have the biggest budget feature film in Netflix’s history at over $200 million. Marvel movie writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely helped with the script that was initially written by the Russo brothers.
Cast
It stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. Ana De Armas has also been announced to star alongside Gosling and Evans. De Armas previously worked with Gosling in Blade Runner 2049 and Evans in Knives Out.
As of writing, there is no information yet on who Ana De Armas will be playing in the film.
Story
The action thriller film follows the story of a deadly duel between Court Genry (Gosling) and freelance assassin Lloyd Hansen (Evans) who is a former cohort at the CIA. It is based on the first installment of the Gray Man book series.
