7 K-Dramas and Korean Films You Can Stream on Netflix Soon

Which of these dramas are you most excited to stream?

We’re already nearing the end of 2020, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to be running out of Korean content to stream from Netflix. The streaming site has recently just announced their slate of K-dramas and films starting this November to the first quarter of 2021.

From Park Shin Hye’s upcoming thriller film to Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won’s upcoming collaboration, here are 7 Korean dramas and films launching on Netflix in the coming days. Check it out below:

The Call
November 27

This Korean film centers on a woman living in the present who answers a phone call from a woman living in the past, from 20 years ago. The two become friends, but this friendship gets complicated when secrets from the past and the future are revealed.

This film comes from director Lee Chung Hyun and stars Park Shin Hye, Jeon Jong Seo, Lee El, and more.

The Uncanny Counter
November 28

Also based on a popular webtoon, The Uncanny Counter tells the story of superheroes who live a double life working at a noodle shop and hunting down obstinate evil spirits. It shows the struggles between the evil spirits and the Counters, who are endowed with special gifts like strength, psychometry, and healing.

This drama stars Cho Byeong Gyu, Yu Jun Sang, and Kim Se Jeong.

Run On
December 16

Run On is a romantic drama telling the interconnected stories of people who have trouble communicating despite speaking the same language. It features their story as they form relationships through their own languages. Im Si Wan plays Ki Seon Gyeom, a former sprinter whose life turns upsidedown after a fateful event. Shin Sae Kyeong, on the other hand, plays Oh Mi Joo, who becomes a translator for films.

Joining the two leads are Choi Soo Young and Kang Tae Oh.

Lovestruck in the City

Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won star in this drama as Park Jae Won, a passionate architect who’s also a romantic at heart, and Lee Eun Oh, a free-spirited woman who reinvents herself as Yoon Seon Ah and moves to a remote place.

Love Alarm star Song Kang stars in Sweet Home as Cha Hyeon Su — a reclusive high school student who faces life-changing situations after moving into a new apartment. The series is adapted from a webtoon of the same name, which is set in a world where people turn into monsters that reflect their desires.

Joining Song Kang in the drama are Lee Jin Wook, Kim Nam Hee, Lee Do Hyun, Go Min Si, and more.

What Happened to Mr. Cha

Space Sweepers
1st Quarter of 2021

Space Sweepers is a film set in the year 2092, when the Earth is becoming a planet that will soon be inhabitable. It follows the humans of Spaceship Victor, who discovers a 7-year-old girl inside a crashed space shuttle who they kidnap for ransom after realizing that she’s the robot that the UTS Space Guards have been searching for.

Starring in this film are Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, and Yoo Hai Jin.
