Netflix has recently released the trailer for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the manga series Alice in Borderland! The Japanese series, which stars Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya, arrives on the streaming site this December 10.

The series centers on a jobless and video-game-obsessed young man named Arisu, who finds himself in a stranger version of Tokyo where he must compete in dangerous games with his friends to survive. It’s here that he meets Usagi, a woman who’s going through the same games alone. They then decide to work together to solve one mystery after another while risking their lives to live.
This series comes from director Shinsuke Sato and stars Kento Yamazaki (Kingdom, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K) and Tao Tsuchiya (Rurouni Kenshin, Library Wars: BOOK OF MEMORIES). Joining them are Nijiro Murakami, Yuki Morinaga, Keita Machia, and Ayaka Miyoshi.
