Ten months after Netflix gave us the first teaser to Selena: The Series, the streaming site dropped another quick video featuring Christian Serratos, in full character as Selna Quintanilla!
The one-minute teaser features a young Selena talking to her father/manager, Abraham Quintanilla Jr., about how her practices are eventually going to pay off. “When I see you on that stage, I still see the 6-year-old girl singing in our backyard,” Abraham reminisced as the teaser plays a snippet of Selena’s “Como La Flor.”

Launching this December 4, Selena: The Series is a coming-of-age story about the Mexican-American Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla. It follows her while growing up, with her family supporting and helping her hold on to love and music.
Aside from the official teaser, Selena: The Series‘ official Instagram page uploaded new photos from the show. It also gave us a look at who will be playing A.B and Suzette Quintanilla.
Starring in this series are Christian Serrators, Madison Taylor Baex, Ricardo Chavira, Seidy Lopez, Gabriel Chavarria, Noemi Gonzalez, and Jessey Posey.
