Interview: Henry Cavill Talks About Being Sherlock in Netflix's 'Enola Holmes'

Interview: Henry Cavill Talks About Being the Sherlock of Netflix’s ‘Enola Holmes’

Henry Cavill shares how it was working with Millie Bobby Brown; shaping this film's Sherlock; and more!

Millie and Claflin as Henry’s onscreen siblings

The Holmes siblings might share a genetic genius, but like any other siblings out there, they have their differences. Asked about how this sibling chemistry was concocted, Henry Cavill says it all fell into place naturally.

“It was a very easy transition,” says Henry. “For me and Enola, it was the emotional connection. For me and Sam, it was the connection of having been brothers that have grown up together but respect each other for our extraordinary differences.”

But Millie was also like a younger sister to Henry on set, the actor reveals. “She is a lot of fun, we have a lot of laughs together. I rolled my eyes a lot of times at Millie.”

He recounts how she would talk to him about reality shows a lot, and that he would just switch off listening while she continues on with her stories. Aside from this, it seems that she also invited him to join in on some TikTok videos.

“She also tried to get me to do a lot of social media videos,” says Henry. “Whether it’s dances or anything like that, I, of course, gave her a strong ‘no’ with that one.”

What a relatable picture of an enthusiastic Gen Z and her older sibling who’s more into the big bros stuff, such as building a gaming PC.
