Avid Liongoren, director of Saving Sally, is back with a new animated film and it’s heading straight to Netflix!
Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story is a sultry comedy which follows the romantic dilemmas of Nimfa, a perfume saleslady torn between her current lover and a wealthy suitor. Check out some of the stills from the upcoming film:
The film has a star-studded cast voicing its anthropomorphic animal characters. This cast includes Angelica Panganiban, Robin Padilla, Sam Milby, Empoy Marquez, Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Eugene Domingo, Yeng Constantino, Moira dela Torre and Bb Joyce Bernal.
Here is the film’s official synopsis:
“Nimfa Dimaano, the pretty pussycat is a perfume sales kitty at a department store. Her boyfriend, Roger, the macho mongrel is a janitor. Nimfa meets Iñigo Villanueva, the bourgeoisie business dog and their chemistry ignites. Will Nimfa and Roger’s love for DVDs and cheap street food keep them together or will Iñigo’s high society charms tear them apart?”
Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story will premiere on Netflix this October 29.
