Son Ye Jin and Kang Ha Neul are in talks for the lead roles of the drama Cut by the Heart. This is after the success of their most recent dramas, Crash Landing On You and When the Camellia Blooms, respectively.
Cut by the Heart is a historical drama about the tragic love story between Princess Pyeonggang, who takes advantage of On Dal’s feelings for her by making him do foolish sacrifices.
Reports about the possible collaboration circulated online yesterday, after Korean news sites said that the two stars will be starring as the main leads of the drama.
However, the agencies of the two stars dismissed these reports, saying that the two are still considering the roles. According to the statements of both Seo Ye Jin’s agency MS Team Entertainment and Kang Ha Neul’s agency TH Company, they have both received offers for the drama, but nothing has been decided yet.
Son Ye Jin recently starred in the well-loved dramas Crash Landing On You and Something in the Rain. Kang Ha Neul, on the other hand, recently played the role of the cop Hwang Yong Sik in When the Camellia Blooms. His portrayal earned him the award for Best Actor in this year’s Baeksang Awards.
