This is not a drill: TBA Films Kung Paano Siya Nawala and Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon are launching on Netflix next month!The two films will be premiering on the site on August 13 and August 27, respectively, so you better have your tissues and your feelings ready for some good ol’ cryfest!
Kung Paano Siya Nawala is a film from director Joel Ruiz about Lio, a man who is having a hard time connecting with others because of his face blindness. His life changes when he meets the free-spirited Shana who helps him discover the highs and lows of love.
The film premiered back in 2018, and stars Rhian Ramos and JM De Guzman.
Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, on the other hand, is the sequel to Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa. It centers on Sam and Isa, ex-lovers turned friends who find pain and uncertainty as they come to terms with their feelings and find themselves in their own relationships. The film, which premiered last year, is directed by Nestor Abrogena and stars Nico Manalo and Emanuelle Vera.
Aside from these two films, Love the Way U Lie and Hindi Tayo Pwede are also slated to arrive on Netflix next month. The films join other films like Birdshot, Eerie, Through Night and Day, and more in the roster of Filipino films available on the streaming site.
