Project Power is a film set in New Orleans, where word about a pill that could give its users superpowers begins to spread. The user may develop bulletproof skin, invisibility, and super strength, but they won’t know it unless after they take it. When the pill began to increase the crime rate in the city, a local cop, a teenage dealer, and a former soldier work together and fight power with power as they search for the group who’s behind it.
The action-packed film comes from directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, with a script by Mattson Tomlin. It stars Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dominique Fishback, Rodrigo Santoro, and more.
Project Power starts streaming on Netflix this August 14.
