Set during the lockdown, Hello, Stranger tells the story of the school’s basketball player Xavier, who meets the nerdy student Mico, after he accidentally joins Mico’s Zoom meeting with friends. Despite starting off as enemies, the two eventually form a bond that goes way beyond friendship.
This upcoming gay web series will come in eight 10-15-minute episodes of Zoom meetings. Fans of the show may also keep up with the characters’ storylines through their social media accounts, which will be updated until they are able to meet again once quarantine is lifted.
The series will act as a “prelude” to a BL movie that Black Sheep will be producing once the restrictions are lifted and they are able to shoot again.
The web series is directed by Petersen Vargas (Lisyun Qng Geografia, 2 Cool 2 Be 4Gotten), and it stars Tony Labrusca, JC Alcantara, Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz, Gillian Vicencio, and Miguel Almendras.
Hello, Stranger launches on Black Sheep’s Facebook page on June 24. For updates and more information regarding this, you may check out Black Sheep’s official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
