Two years since the previous season aired, historical drama series The Crown is set to return to Netflix for the third season this November 17! The official release date was announced last night, with a 20-second teaser which gives us a glimpse of Olivia Coleman as Queen Elizabeth II!

For its third season, the drama will be featuring a new cast which includes Olivia Coleman, Tobias Menzies, and Helena Bonham Carter who'll be taking over the roles played by Claire Foy, Matt Smith, and Princess Margaret.
The upcoming season is set from 1964 to 1977, which will cover the important national and royal family events like Prince Charles' coronation as Prince of Wales, Winston Churchill's funeral, and the Beatles' rise to fame.
The Crown follows the story of what goes on in Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street. It also features events, intrigues, love lives, and machinations that had shaped the second half of the 20th century.
